The children’s books gathered here have been created through pedagogical work taking place in early childhood centres across British Columbia. Each book takes a different form, shaped by the particular children, places, questions, materials, and relations involved. These stories emerge through sustained processes of pedagogical narration and collaborative meaning-making, where children’s words, drawings, theories, questions, and encounters with materials, places, and one another become part of an ongoing conversation.
