Loomy Grey Forest grew from the children’s charcoal drawings, stories, and shared imaginings in the Chickadees Room at North Shore Neighbourhood House. Following the ideas already taking shape in their marks and conversations, the book gathers a world of falling stars, sleeping lines, a forest rocketship, and a chickadee learning how to stay with what feels unfamiliar.
