Participants joined this Early Childhood Pedagogist Program event to hear pedagogists Maria Jeong and Rachel Phillips, alongside early childhood educator Janet Fletcher, in conversation with ECPN Pedagogical Coordinator Meagan Montpetit. Together, they considered what it means to attend to children’s lifeworlds through pedagogical work in early childhood centres.

Drawing on encounters with clay, gardens, sunflowers, and bees, the presenters shared how curriculum can emerge through careful attention to children’s everyday relations with materials, place, and one another. This was the third session in a four-part series featuring various aspects of pedagogists’ work in early childhood centres.
