This Early Childhood Pedagogy Network event featured ECPN pedagogists Tracy Barkman and Lu Jiang alongside educator Talia Westergreen in conversation about how they work together to foster rich and meaningful conversations with children. Drawing on pedagogical experiences from their centres, they shared concrete examples of how collaborative dialogue, documentation, and intentional pedagogical moves can open space for deeper thinking with children.

This session was the second in a four-part series highlighting different aspects of pedagogists’ work in early childhood centres and offered insight into the relational and collective nature of pedagogical practice.
