This conversation between Gunilla Dahlberg and Veronica Pacini-Ketchabaw considered the myriad conditions necessary to create more livable, inclusive and just early education system that reflects the complex pedagogical work undertaken by educators.

This timely and relevant conversation was a response to federal and provincial government initiatives and funding announcements regarding a publicly funded early childhood education system.

Gunilla Dahlberg is a Professor Emerita of Pedagogy at the Department of Childhood and Youth Studies at Stockholm University. She has served in several curriculum committees during the years and been one of the experts writing up the first national curriculum for the Swedish preschool system (children of age 1-6).

Veronica Pacini-Ketchabaw, ECPN Co-Director, is a Professor of Early Childhood Education in the Faculty of Education and Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Research in Curriculum at Western University in Ontario, Canada

This was a free virtual event. Professional development certificates were issued to attendees.
