Adrianne Bacelar de Castro is an educator and researcher with over a decade of experience in education in Brazil and Canada. Informed by common worlds pedagogies, her work reconfigures early childhood education through place-based, more-than-human, and anti-racist engagements. Her most recent research, situated in Brazil, attends to the entangled relationships between children, educators, and their environments in the context of the Anthropocene. Through her work, Adrianne foregrounds inclusive pedagogical practices that nurture possibilities for more just and livable futures, always attentive to education’s ethical and political responsibilities in these times.
