Early childhood centre directors Kim Ainsworth, Sara Sutherland, and Karen Vaughan joined ECPN Co-Director Kathleen Kummen in conversation, sharing their experiences as administrators working to create conditions for children, educators, and families to live and learn well together (BC ELF). Drawing from examples in their own practice and reflecting on their centres’ pedagogical commitments, the directors unpacked their learning and described the ongoing processes of working and reworking centre practices and policies in response to the complexities, joys, and challenges of early childhood education in the 21st century.
