With the Gathering Tree was an exhibition that took place as a community event starting from October 24th to December 31st, 2022, in the Open Gallery at Kamloops Art Gallery.

The exhbit narrated children’s efforts over four seasons to live well with a 50-year-old maple tree in the centre of their yard. Drawing in the company of the tree, children reimagined their relations with the world and its inhabitants. Visitors to the exhibit were invited to participate in the ongoing project by contributing their own drawings.
