Creating Pedagogical Projects in Early Childhood Spaces

On October 28, 2021, ECPN community pedagogist Frances Smyth, hosted at the West Kootenay Childcare Resource and Referral, was joined by early childhood educator Pippa Bowley, to discuss their experience working together on a sustained pedagogical project that explores collaborative map making with children.

Frances and Pippa discussed the roles of the pedagogist and educator in creating curriculum, and examined how processes that enlivened this project were connected to their pedagogical commitments.
